I attended the 4th Precinct meeting last night, November 2, and here are my notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4th<\/sup> Precinct Meeting 11-2-2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bob Murphy attended the 4th<\/sup> precinct meeting on 11-2-2021. The meeting was well attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Inspector Romagnoli ran the meeting. He introduced Deputy Inspector Webber who has transferred into the 4th<\/sup> from another command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cope officers were present and a 4th<\/sup> precinct officer recounted what happens in a typical welfare check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Representatives from the pistol licensing bureau who gave a presentation on their bureau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The PLB is responsible for issuing pistol licenses to residents of the police district. The Sheriff\u2019s office issues licenses to residents of the east end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are currently 42,676 pistol licenses issued by the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There is a long wait to receive a license due to the high number of applications and limited staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Applications may now be submitted online and there is approximately an 18 month wait to get an interview from the time the application is submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Vehicle thefts were up slightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Inspector Romagnoli again cautioned us to be careful when we go to the gym, etc. as there have been numerous vehicle break-ins where valuables have been stolen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The next 4th<\/sup> precinct community meeting will be held on December 7th<\/sup> at 7PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I attended the 4th Precinct meeting last night, November 2, and here are my notes. 4th Precinct Meeting 11-2-2021 Bob Murphy attended the 4th precinct meeting on 11-2-2021.
