Here are the major October 2021 monthly statistics for the 1st Precinct which held its meeting on November 4, 2021:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
306 arrests;
22 drug overdoses, one fatal;
6 residential and 7 commercial burglaries;
4 shootings, all in the Babylon area;
64 drug-related and 14 heroin arrests.
Stolen cars and street races continue to be problems.
There were a number of loaded handgun arrests.
A 17-year old was stabbed in the stomach by another 17-year old male in Deer Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I gave a presentation for our Academy Recruitment Drive.\u00a0 Several church groups and one local elected official each took a brochure and an application and indicated the information would be included in their online newsletters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next meeting at the West Babylon Public Library is Dec. 2, 2021 at 7 PM.
