{"id":5875,"date":"2024-04-09T12:23:46","date_gmt":"2024-04-09T16:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sccpaaa.org\/?p=5875"},"modified":"2024-04-09T12:23:48","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T16:23:48","slug":"6th-precinct-april-2024-community-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sccpaaa.org\/?p=5875","title":{"rendered":"6th Precinct April 2024 Community Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In attendance representing SCCPAAA were Bob Marketta and Lou Giudice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>March 2024 had 604 crimes, down from 678 last year for the same period, an 11% decrease.<br>These 604 crimes included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>0 Homicide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 Aggravated Assaults<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 Burglaries (2 Residential, 3 Commercial)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0 Robbery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 Grand Larcenies Auto<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Trigger Pulls (0 Victims Shot) out of (3 recorded gun crimes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>compared to March 2023, when we had 3 Trigger Pulls (1 Victim Shot) out of (6 recorded gun crimes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There were 314 arrests on 391 charges in March including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>9 Assaults<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0 Burglary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>68 Drugs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0 Robberies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>March had 17 drug overdoses with 6 fatalities,<br>compared with March 2023 with 30 overdoses and 2 fatalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>March had 547 motor vehicle crashes compared to March 2023 with 430 crashes, up 27%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 fatality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>48  leaving the scene<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8 DWI related<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There were 25 arrests for DWI with 36 charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers wrote 2638 tickets.<br>Highway Bureau SITE Unit issued an additional 53 tickets.<br><br><em>Reported by Lou Giudice<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In attendance representing SCCPAAA were Bob Marketta and Lou Giudice.
