{"id":5979,"date":"2024-07-12T13:47:17","date_gmt":"2024-07-12T17:47:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sccpaaa.org\/?p=5979"},"modified":"2024-07-12T13:47:19","modified_gmt":"2024-07-12T17:47:19","slug":"6th-precinct-july-2024-community-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sccpaaa.org\/?p=5979","title":{"rendered":"6th Precinct July 2024 Community Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In attendance representing SCCPAAA was Lou Giudice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>June 2024 had 710 crimes, down from 719 last year for the same period.<br>These crimes included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>0 Homicide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>9 Aggravated Assaults<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 Burglaries (4 Residential, 3 Commercial)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0 Robberies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 Grand Larcenies Auto<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0 Trigger Pulls (0 Victim Shot) out of (3 recorded gun crimes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>compared to June 2023, when we had 0 Trigger Pull (0 Victim Shot) out of (1 recorded gun crime)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There were 184 arrests on 249 charges in June including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6 Assaults<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 Burglaries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>44 Drugs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0 Robbery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>June had 9 drug overdoses with 1 fatality,<br>compared with June 2023 with 30 overdoses and 1 fatality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>June had 666 motor vehicle crashes compared to June 2023 with 525 crashes, up 26.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4 SPI\/fatal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>60 leaving the scene<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 DWI related<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There were 14 arrests for DWI with 24 charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers wrote 2069 tickets.<br>Highway Bureau SITE Unit issued an additional 151 tickets.<br><br><em>Reported by Lou Giudice<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In attendance representing SCCPAAA was Lou Giudice.
