THE NEXT SCCPAAA OPEN MEETING WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2025 AT THE POLICE ACADEMY IN BRENTWOOD.

Our next General Membership/Election meeting is Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Police Academy.

We will be voting to elect some available officer positions this year. The Nominating Committee, consisting of Chair Sam Clemente, Christne Umlauft, and Mike DuBritz, were elected at our February meeting. They are recommending the following slate:

      President – Kevin O’Hare

      2nd Vice President – Peter Colli

      Treasurer – Erich Beck

      Corresponding Secretary – Debbie Grayer

Upon entering the meeting, you will be checked by our records for current membership to be able to vote and given a ballot. The Nominating Committee will formally present their Slate of Officers. The Nominating Committee is then dissolved. A request will be made for nominations from the floor, giving them a brief speech on why they should be considered. Then, voting will commence. Ballots will be tallied. Newly elected officers will be announced.

The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office is now offering exams for both Correction Officers and Deputy Sheriffs.
