Special presentation by a Suffolk County A.D.A outlining steps taken after becoming a victim of a crime. Topics covered were arrests, what to expect in court, how the legal system works, adjournments, bail, hearings, grand jury, sentencing and orders of protection.
Community concerns of criminal mischief at a residence, proposed land development, possible drug dealing from a residence and misuse of property for recreational vehicles were addressed.
Our next community meeting is scheduled for February 2nd at 7p.m.
