The 5th precinct Community Meeting was held on June 10, 2015 @ 7pm at Patchogue Medford Library. Next Meeting will be held July 8, 2015.
Topics discussed at the meeting included; Summer Safety Tips, Social Host Law, Preventing Burglaries, Thefts from vehicles, Shoplifting.
During the open forum residents identified community concerns and issues. Each community concern will be looked at individually and referred to the appropriate units for follow-up. .
The 5th Precinct spoke to residents about up on and coming presentations and events that the Police Department is holding in their neighborhoods during the summer months.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 8, 2015 @ 7pm at the Patchogue- Medford Library 54-60 E. Main St. Patchogue
The 5th Precinct Monthly Community meeting was held on 2/11/15 7pm at the Patchogue- Medford Library.
The monthly open meeting is designed to facilitate communication and collaboration between the 5th Pct. and the community members it serves. The Department presentation included recent crime trends, local criminal incidents and information about the upcoming Suffolk County Police entrance exam on June 13, 2015. Literature distributed at the meeting included Nixle instructions, the 5th Precinct monthly meeting schedule for 2015, Police Exam fliers and Police Week 2015 fliers.
