It was announced of a new drone program in the County controlled at Police Headquarters in Yaphank. The Precinct drone will be able to reach the scene faster than the car unit and will be able to survey the surrounding area for any associated problems. The 1st Precinct will receive its drone shortly.

The next community meeting will be November 6, 2025. The time and place will be announced. All residents are welcome.
