Meeting opened with 4 photos taken from social media involving SCPD Precinct buildings or sector cars, with stories posted by the photographer of alleged SCPD involvement with I.C.E.Federal Agents. Inspector Doherty after investigating these claims addressed these photos one at a time, disproving the incorrect allegations posted by the photographer. One community member present proceeded to say she had communicated through emails with Inspector Doherty regularly about other issues involving I.C.E. and the SCPD. Inspector Doherty spoke clearly about the policy of the SCPD regarding their neutral status with property usage, warrants, as well as Officers regarding Federal agents. Inspector Doherty opened up a period of answering questions.

Christmas Day Heros a child fell through the ice in a pond in East Patchogue, 3 officers responded while one officer went in the pond and started breaking the ice ,the other Officer was getting life saving flotation device prepared. the third officer was able to lay flat on the ice to get out to where the child was and a rescue was made, all involved were safe.
Breakfast With Santa was attended by about 70 families
Winter Coat Drive, successful with about 700 coats donated and distributed.
