June 2023 crimes included:

  • 0 Homicide
  • 12 Aggravated Assaults
  • 9 Burglaries (3 Residential, 6 Commercial)
  • 0 Trigger Pulls
  • compared to June 2022, when we had 4 Trigger Pulls (4 Victims Shot) out of 4 recorded gun crimes.

There were 242 arrests on 311 charges in June including:

  • 7 Assaults
  • 10 Burglary

A search warrent was executed at Townhouse Drive, Coram subsquent to a narcotics investigation which was initiated by the 6th Precinct Anti Crime Unit.

Seized during the warrent were the following:

  • 330 grams cocaine
  • 197 grams Fentanyl
  • 16.7 grams Oxycodone
  • $190,681
  • One 9MM Smith and Wesson
  • 4 boxes ammunition

There was a presentation by CrimeStoppers of Suffolk County, Inc.

The next 6th Precinct Community Meeting will be held Tuesday August 8th at 10AM at the precinct.
