Kevin,
As you know I will ending my career with SCPD on Friday March 28, exactly 40 years to the day from when I started with this great police department.
It’s been an enjoyable and fulfilling journey. In those years I have made many friends, many of whom I now consider family. In the past 15 years working with the Civilian Police Academy has been especially gratifying. Meeting and getting to know so many people throughout Suffolk County, and working with so many people from different walks of life, have certainly made me a better person. I have been touched immeasurably by so many individuals.
I wanted to thank you and all the Civilian Academy Alumni for the honor and privilege to work side by side with this great organization of people. Please continue your mission in your support of the Suffolk County Police Department. I have nothing but fond memories and everlasting friendships which I have experienced over the years.  Hope to see you around at some of your meetings, My 2020 dues are all paid.
God Bless

Warm Regards to all

After two or three classes, the COVID pandemic shut down this class.

Many 38th class students re-enrolled for the 39th class.

The Smithtown News, on January 23, 2020 posted the above interview with PO Mitch Savino, supervisor of the SCCCPA program. This is great publicity for our program; nice job Mitch!
