Deputy Inspector William Ginley was in charge of tonight’s meeting along with Police officer Susan Laveglia. 

Ms. Laveglia spoke about driving safety and how to remain diligent in stores as well as in parking lots. 

Winter preparedness should include driving up and down your driveway and walking back and forth in your walkway to deter thieves from knowing you aren’t home.

12/20/23 Man commits suicide in Ronkonkoma on Wiggins St. due to divorce issues. 

12/21/23 Search Warrant executed at 221 Shelter Rd Ronkonkoma due to drug activity. 

From 2/8/23 one arrest has been made from the robbery at Gold Mine Jewelry Store in Smithtown. 

Unfortunately driving fatalities are up 11%
